My name is Michael Doerman and I truly love photography. I’ve been involved with it since I was six when my parents gave me a spy camera as a gift. I would run around the house and the yard snapping pictures of everything I could. Most of the time there was no film in the camera, but that didn’t matter because I simply enjoyed organizing the picture in my head.
Years later, I turned my passion into a career and received a bachelors degree in photography. I’ve been involved in the wedding photography industry for several years now and I have been loving every minute of it. I feel it is such an honor to be working so close with couples on such an important event. Weddings are the most important day in many people’s lives and I love to capture all of the special moments of that day. The cake will be eaten, the guests will leave, and the memories may fade, but the photographs will last lifetimes.
The goal of Doerman Photography is to capture every moment of your wedding from start to finish with an emphasis on quality and style. Although I am deeply involved in personal photography work, the only commercial photography I engage in is weddings to ensure specialized, creative and unique work for the couples I work with.
